The CompaqEvo family of personal computers was manufactured in 2002 and included several models, including a "minitower", desktop model, and several "Small Form Factor" models.
Once purchased, a user performed several steps, so that the machine could be used. These steps included:
- Plugging in various cables
- Installing the operating system (typically a Compaq operating system, Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Microsoft Windows 98, or Microsoft Windows NT)
