This board has circuitry to convert analog signals to digital signals and vice-versa. Useful for arbitrary analog signal generation or digitization/analysis. Such circuitry is a staple of analog sound or video signal playback/recording hardware, signal analysis hardware for scientific purposes, and an unbounded variety of other applications.
