The Microtek SlimScan C3 came out in 1999 with 12-bit gray depth, 36-bit color depth, a optical resolution of 300 dpi by 600 dpi, and a interpolated resolution of 4800 dpi by 4800 dpi. It supported Windows NT, 98, 2000 and XP. One could scan up 8.5in by 11.7 in by a USB port. Also one must have 16 MB of RAM at the minimum on their computer for the drivers.
