The image is a visualization of mathematics, a juxtaposition of related fractals. The image was made by taking 9 photographic views of a 2D image from different viewpoints, electronically cutting them into strips and repasting them. A barrier screen is placed on the light box in front of the recomposed image in such a way that each eye sees a different view, making it appear 3D, and as you look at it from different viewpoints, you see a slightly different 3D image.
