Dot matrix printer with a serial interface, used with the Apple II and other Apple products. It used a monochrome dot-matrix printing mechanism, but supported an 8-color ribbon for basic color printing. The ImageWriter II was known to be reliable and sturdy, with many remaining in active use for 10 years or more.
Released in September, 1985.
