Pascal Language Handbook

The Pascal Language Handbook by Michael L. Hall and Robert D. Reimiller.

The original Pascal programming language was developed in the early 1970s by Niklaus Wirth and implemented on a CSC 6000 computer in Zurich, Switzerland. The version of Pascal discussed here was implemented by OMEGASOFT, Sunnyvale, California, and apparently targeted an 8-bit 6809 micro-computer.

Some "extensions" of the original Pascal include a STRING data type. Since the target machine is small, the PACK and UNPACK statements of original Pascal are not supported; some I/O details also may vary from commonly used versions of Pascal.

This second printing of the manual is dated January, 1982.
